Kristen Crawford, MD

Kristen Crawford M.D. is a board certified internist by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She received a B.S. in biology from Mississippi College in 2008, her M.D. from University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2012, and completed residency at the University of Mississippi with an emphasis on primary care in 2015. She then began practicing primary care in Jackson, MS and served her state through the Mississippi State Medical Association until 2022 when she moved to Highland Village, TX with her family.

She has special interest in preventative medicine, as well as treating metabolic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. She believes mental health is interwoven and strongly influences physical health. Her favorite thing about primary care is developing deep, lasting relationships with her patients and walking with them through the various stages of life.

In her spare time, she enjoys watching her son and daughter play sports. She is active in her church, reads voraciously, enjoys the outdoors, and loves to travel.
