Carolyn Riley, MD

Carolyn Riley, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN serving the residents of North Texas at CornerstoneMD in Dallas. She’s a caring and compassionate physician who takes a proactive and preventive approach to health care. Dr. Riley’s specialties include gynecology for women of all ages and weight loss for both men and women, and her services are tailored specifically to meet each patient’s needs. Her goal at the end of every patient encounter is that each person leaves feeling a little more empowered than when they arrived. After graduating with honors from the Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Riley went on to complete her medical education at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She then went on to finish her residency training in OB/GYN at Tulane University in New Orleans. Dr. Riley chose OB/GYN as her life’s work because she enjoys guiding women through the progression of their reproductive years and assisting them through a smooth transition into menopause. During her years in private practice, she’s observed a growing need to address the weight-loss needs of her patients. It’s this observation that has ignited her passion to practice weight-loss medicine. Dedicated to her profession, Dr. Riley is a proud member of the Obesity Medicine Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the National Medical Association. When she’s not at the office helping patients meet their health goals, Dr. Riley may be found traveling, exploring new restaurants, attending sporting events or plays, listening to music, or spending time with her family and friends. She’s happily married and has two wonderful children.
