Ashley graduated from Indiana State University in 2012 with her MSN degree. Since then, she has worked as a primary care provider across the Austin region. Prior to obtaining her MSN degree, she practiced for 6 years as an ICU nurse. Ashley provides evidence-based health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education. Her patient care is motivated by supporting and empowering patients to explore their unique health needs. She maintains current certification by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her background is in family practice, indigent care, and LGBTQ informed care. She is a current member of WPATH and is on the Board of Directors for the Central Texas Transgender Health Coalition.

Raissa Behm, NP

Raissa received her Masters in Nursing in Family Medicine from Texas State University and her undergraduate nursing degree at Lamar University. Since then, Raissa has worked for more than a decade as an ER and trauma nurse at Baptist Hospital In Beaumont, Seton Medical Center Williamson Hospital and Austin Emergency Center. Raissa is a certified Biote Hormone Replacement provider, specializing in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and an expert in allergies and immunotherapy, having run Zest Family Medicine””s allergy clinic for the past year. Raissa has a passion for connecting personally with each patient to provide individualized care that meets each patient where they are in their healthcare journey.

Tara McDonald, NP

Tara received her Master’s Degree from Texas Woman’s University and undergraduate degrees in Nursing from the University of Texas Houston and in BioMedical Science from Texas A&M. Most recently, she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a primary care clinic in Houston. Prior to that, Tara pursued her passion for aesthetic medicine, working at a medical spa in Bellaire, where she was certified in dietary counseling, botulinum injections (Botox), dermal fillers and laser skin treatments. Tara also brings extensive orthopedic experience to Zest, having worked for 5 years providing pre and post care for spine and joint replacement surgeries. She is a certified Biote Hormone Replacement provider. Tara is an advocate for customizing individual treatment plans for each patient while educating them on holistic care options.
