Dr. Kelli Burroughs is an award-winning, board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, recently appointed Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs and Patient Experience at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. In her new role, she will also serve as Chief Medical Officer for office-based practices, focusing on standardization, quality improvement, and the development of clinical pathways. A native of Camden, South Carolina, Dr. Burroughs earned her undergraduate degree from Spelman College and completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. She went on to complete her residency at the Houston Methodist OB/GYN program.

Dr. Burroughs lives in Sugar Land, Texas, with her husband, Anthony, and their son, Ellison.
