April Luquette is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University where she was privileged to join the Golden Key International Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau Phi Nu Chapter of the International Nursing Honor Society, and Sigma Alpha Pi Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success. As a Registered Nurse of 6 years, she previously worked for local hospitals including Baptist and St. Elizabeth as an Acute Telemetry Registered Nurse on the cardiac units and for Texas Total Care, a local Home Health and Hospice Agency, as an RN Hospice Case Manager.
April is happily married with 3 children. She was raised in Groves, Texas and has spent her life in the Golden Triangle area. Her Bachelors of Science in Nursing was earned at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. During this time, she devoted hundreds of hours to her community volunteering with the Rape and Suicide Crisis Call Center of Southeast Texas. She and her daughter donate food, goods, and clothes to their surrounding cities, and currently have a mission to help the local Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a national non-profit organization, to provide beds, bedding, and mattresses to local children and families in need.
She enjoys spending time with her family doing anything and everything. She is an animal lover with a variety of pets which includes 2 that are exotic. April loves learning and plans to continue her education to ensure she provides the best, most up to date care.
April’s top priority is natural health and wellness such as with diet modification, exercise, and natural supplementation. Since health is a priority, she works hard to help her family and patients become and stay as healthy as possible. She continues to have a deep love and devotion to her community and is excited to start her journey working closely with the Levine Team at Golden Triangle Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.
