Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Dr. Nguyen came to the US alone in 1982 as a refugee seeking freedom and the opportunity to fulfil her childhood dream to pursue a career in medicine.
With hard work and dedication, she graduated from high school with high honors and received a full scholarship to USC with a major in Biology.
She then went to Rush medical college in Chicago followed by her residency in Internal Medicine.
With continued growing interest in medicine, she then went on to receive additional training from a fellowship in Critical care Medicine.
She has since been in practice for over 20 years
as an internist , the last 10 years in Austin, Texas.
With the passion to continue to gain new knowledge in order to best serve her patients, she became interested in the new fields of Regenerative Medicine and Functional Medicine.
Regenerative therapies allow us to approach the root cause all diseases using biologics to promote the body to repair, restore and regenerate.
