Dr. Newman’s journey to becoming a physician began in the fitness industry. While working as a personal trainer and nutrition coach, he discovered a passion for helping others improve their health. In his current clinical practice, he continues to implement healthy lifestyle recommendations in addition to progressive medical treatments. He earned his bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Southern Utah University and his medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship in family medicine at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas. Following his internship, he obtained additional training in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and is an active member of the Androgen Society. In his non-clinical life, he enjoys weight training, motocross, wakeboarding, and spending time with family.
