I am a certified nurse practitioner with my doctorate in nursing practice. I obtained my healthcare degrees through South Dakota State University in 2010 and went on to pursue my nurse practitioner in 2015. I completed my doctorate degree while working as a RN in the Intensive Care Unit at Avera, Queen of Peace Hospital. After this, I worked Internal Medicine and Acute Care for the next 8 years. I have a combined 12 years of healthcare experience. I enjoy each aspect of the life stages. I have a strong desire to optimize health and well-being at each phase of life. I am certified in bioidentical hormone therapy through the BioTE method with pellet therapy. I also have certifications in neurotoxins and dermal fillers.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my kids activities, teaching group fitness classes at Zen Studio in Parkston, being outdoors with my family, reading both fiction and non-fiction books. I love continuing medical education when my schedule allows.
My husband, Dan, is a recruiter for Fusion Medical Staffing in physical and occupational therapist and the head wrestling coach for Parkston High School. We reside in Parkston, SD, with our five boys, Noah (9), Simon (9), Beau (6), Max (2), & Sam (2)
