Dr. Beverly De La Bruere graduated from Washburn University of Topeka with a B.S. in Biology, magna cum laude, with departmental honors, then completed another year of training to become a Medical Technologist. She went on to medical school at the Kansas University School of Medicine, completing her M.D. degree in 1983 and finished a residency in Family Practice in 1986 at the Kansas University Medical Center. She has been practicing family medicine for nearly 30 years.
Over the years, Dr. De La Bruere has pursued more natural and integrative courses in continuing education. Nutrition has become a passion of hers and she is also achieving a certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine. The goal is to pursue wellness and recovery of health through understanding the underlying factors that lead to disease or lack of health. There is an emphasis on healthy lifestyle choices. In line with that, she is recently trained to help patients with BioTE bio-identical hormone pellets to enhance their quality of life and disease prevention.
