Bruce Lantelme, MD

About 11 years ago I was in a traditional Family Practice and still delivering babies, and I realized I was not making anyone better, only maintaining their diseases by adding another medication every year.

I started Robinhood Integrative Health 7 years ago and immediately realized that Bioidentical Hormone Replacement therapy was one key to achieving healthy aging.

As the practice grew so did the problems we addressed, such as food allergies, gut health, thyroid optimization, adrenal augmentation, detoxification, and then problems such as Lyme disease, fibromyalgia and now mold toxicity.

So, we now have much experience with BHRT.

Adding pellets to our repertoire.

For many people, this may be the best way for optimized

Hormones.

So we are excited to have found BioTe.

We value their experience and continued refining of the pelleting process.

I am proud to be a new nurse practitioner at Robinhood Integrative Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I grew up in North Carolina for the majority of my life and I love the triad area. My background is primarily in Emergency Medicine, with 5 years of experience as an ER nurse.

I obtained my nurse practitioner degree from the University of South Alabama with a specialty in both family practice and adult gerontological acute care. However, my true passion has always been for integrative and functional medicine, so I also obtained a certification in functional medicine through Functional Medicine University. I am a very health conscious person with a major focus on proper nutrition and exercise as a foundation for health. I strive to instill these same values in my patients and those around me. Furthermore, I believe that integrative medicine sees each as

unique individuals whose bodies are interconnected physiologically, mentally, physically, and spiritually.

I have found that it is truly rewarding and efficacious to address the root cause of illness instead of viewing the body as separate systems.
