Women””s health has always been of special interest to Ms. Smith, but she also has experience in family practice, pediatrics, health education, and chronic disease management. Over the most recent years of her practice, she has focused on wellness and prevention, nutrition, weight loss, gastrointestinal healing, and hormone balance. She has received extensive continuing education in the areas in which she specializes.

Since 2005, the majority of her practice has been related to treatment with Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.

Ms. Smith also has a degree in health education and believes that educating people about their own health and how to improve that health is one of the best ways that she can help her patients. She believes that a health care provider can never know it all and continues to listen to patients’ perceptions of their own health and pursue more formalized training.

Brittany McNeil , RN

Brittany McNeil is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who graduated from South University. She has a Master of Science degree in Nursing and is licensed to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina as an FNP. She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Brittany moved to Wilmington in 2007 and instantly felt at home. She is married to Derrick and has two beautiful girls, Harper and Avery, and 4 fur babies. Her nursing career has spanned multiple hospitals across different settings including ER, Surgical, Neurological, with her most loved being Cardiac Care. It was an absolute honor to care for her patient’s during the times when they needed it the most, but she felt like health care providers were missing a piece to the puzzle. She believed there had to be more to overall health than the reactive medicine she had grown accustomed to. That is when she decided to pursue her ultimate goal of becoming an FNP, desiring to partner with her patients in developing a healthy lifestyle, build a strong foundation of health, and ultimately focus on prevention of disease. In her last semester of graduate school, she was introduced to Tabetha and had the pleasure of training directly under her to learn more about Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy and Functional Medicine. Brittany finally found the "missing piece to the puzzle" she was searching for.

She is excited and honored to be joining Tabetha and the staff at Restore Health and Wellness Center and looks forward to focusing on patients' overall wellness, nutrition, prevention of disease, and hormone balance.
