Athena is a proud wife and mother of 4 amazing children who all serve as inspiration to push further in her career. As the Founder of Get Up and Glo Medspa, Athena Brummett, DNP, FNPc, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than twenty years experience, including medically supervised weight loss, hormone balancing and health counseling. Athena’s educational journey is a testament to her dedication to excellence. Her journey began in 2002 when she completed her Family Nurse Practitioner program at UNC Chapel Hill. She earned her DNP from East Carolina University in 2021, a testament to her commitment to staying at the forefront of medical knowledge. Since then, she has continually expanded her expertise, becoming certified in various specialties.
Athena is certified in medical aesthetic procedures such as wrinkle reducers, dermal fillers, sclerotherapy, PDO threads, PRP/PRF and microneedling, and more.
