Sara became a nurse practitioner in 2023, shortly after moving to North Carolina with her husband and three year old twins, from Northern California. She had become a nurse in 2014, graduating magna cum laude as the president of the school’s student nurse association from National University. After working mostly in the ER, ICU and perioperative environments, Sara wanted to expand her knowledge base and scope of practice and decided to become a family nurse practitioner, graduating summa cum laude from Sonoma State University.
As the daughter of a watercolor artist and civil engineer, Sara was raised in a small town in Northern Vermont, where she grew to love all kinds of home improvement projects and artsy renovations. In her downtime you can find her daydreaming about DIY projects (some of which she probably has no business attempting) enjoying a glass of wine and listening to blues while cooking some giant pot of goodness that fills the dimly lit kitchen. Sara is so excited to have found her current role as a BioTe certified provider working at Aegean Medical, and helping patients to optimize their hormonal balance and feel able to take advantage of all that life has to offer.
