Dr. Dobstaff grew up outside of Rochester, NY. He graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor degree in Kinesiology, and attended medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in Wilmington, NC. He has experience as a hospitalist, entrepreneur, and chief medical officer of a medical technology company. Throughout his career he has developed a passion for efficient healthcare delivery, in addition to preventative and regenerative health. His focus outside of medicine centers around his wife and 3 children, who remain active in traveling, hiking, fitness and the beach.
Shelly received her Physician Assistant education at South University, Savannah, GA.
Prior to PA school, she earned her Bachelor of Science in – Health Education and Promotion from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC.
Shelly has nearly twenty years of diverse healthcare experience.
As a Physician Assistant she has extensive experience in primary care, as well as surgery, and is a member of the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants. Shelly is dedicated to providing the highest quality patient-centered care. She is BioTE certified and really enjoys helping patients feel like themselves again through hormone replacement and other age management therapies.
Kristin Timpy is a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of experience in healthcare, specializing in family medicine, women’s health, cardiology, and functional medicine. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Monmouth University, where she specialized as an Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University, graduating with honors. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a specialization in Molecular Cell Physiology, receiving several academic honors, including the Sigma Xi Biological Honors Award.
Kristin spent the first ten years of her career practicing cardiology in New York City and New Jersey before relocating to North Carolina in 2016. It was during this time, after navigating personal challenges with her daughter’s health, that she transitioned into integrative and functional medicine—a shift that ignited her passion for personalized, holistic healthcare. As an Institute of Functional Medicine Certified Provider, Kristin approaches each patient with a focus on addressing the root cause of illness, offering comprehensive care for conditions such as gut health, autoimmune disease, diabetes management, cardiac risk stratification, immune support in oncology, and toxin exposure. On a personal note, Kristin lives with Celiac Disease and Hashimoto’s Disease—conditions she shares with one of her children. This personal health journey has profoundly shaped her approach to wellness, guiding how she cares for both her family and her patients. Married to her high school sweetheart, Kristin and her husband are raising three children, three dogs, and two bunnies. In her free time, she enjoys paddleboarding, weightlifting, Pilates, yoga, and traveling, though much of her schedule is spent at youth travel ice hockey, volleyball, and soccer tournaments.
Sarah is a native of eastern North Carolina.
She received her undergraduate degree from UNC-CH and her BSN and MSN from UNC-Wilmington.
Prior to becoming an NP, Sarah spent 10 years in cardiovascular nursing. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has experience in preventative, primary and urgent care, as well as wellness and aesthetics, and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Sarah is dedicated to providing the highest quality patient-centered care through education and comprehensive treatment plans. She is BioTe certified and strives to help her patients feel like themselves again, inside and out.
