Jennifer McCormick is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner who has worked in a variety of clinical settings throughout her career. She joined Penfield Obstetrics and Gynecology, OBGYN Rochester NY,
in 2021 after practicing for four years at Dermatology Associates of Rochester.
Jennifer began her career as a Registered Nurse in 2010 at the Kessler Burn & Trauma Center before moving to the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) in the Solid Organ Transplant program. She then joined the Emergency Department at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester and practiced there for 3 years before circling back to her experience in caring for burn patients and joining the Department of Plastic Surgery (Burn Surgery) at URMC. She also served as an adjunct professor at St. John Fisher College School of Nursing, instructing a clinical group of undergraduate students.
Jennifer believes in treating patients compassionately and maintaining the most up-to-date medical knowledge by seeking educational and professional development opportunities.
