Dr. Mark P. Gold is a Board Certified OB-GYN, treating patients in New York City and its surrounding communities. His practice was opened in 1981. Dr. Gold holds certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of major professional organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the AMA, and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
Born in New York City, Dr. Gold pursued his medical education by attending a six-year biomedical program through the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (BS) and Albany Medical College (MD), earning both degrees in 1975. He continued his medical education with an internship at Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, GA and residency training through the Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. After two years on the full-time faculty at SUNY at Stony Brook, he joined the department of OB-GYN at Lenox Hill Hospital in 1981, where he went on to deliver thousands of babies and perform numerous gynecologic surgeries.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Gold is a talented pianist blessed with an amazing wife and two sons, with whom he also loves to play golf and watch football!
