Dr. George Liakeas, MD is the owner and medical director of Smooth Synergy, which opened in 2002 as one of New York City’s first Medical Spas. He is a recognized leader in the field of regenerative medicine, including being on the forefront of BHRT therapy. Of note, he runs the PRP Physician Certification Program, holding the distinction of being the only practitioner in NYC certified to train providers to perform the Vampire Platelet-Rich Plasma procedures for cosmetic purposes. As a board-certified physician, member of The American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and The American Cosmetic Cellular Medicine Association, Liakeas specializes in results-oriented, non-surgical aesthetic and rejuvenating procedures for men and women. In practice since 2000, it’s Liakeas mission to combine innovative medical therapies with total attention to the individual needs of his patients, in order to provide the highest-quality, personalized medical care.

Angelica Hernandez, MD

Angelica Maria Hernandez, MD is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and an Attending Physician at Good Samaritan and Southside hospitals. Also, she has hospital privileges at South Nassau Communities Hospital and St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center.

After graduating from The University of Valle in Cali, Colombia, Dr. Hernandez completed her residency training as Chief Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at N.Y.U. Downtown Hospital. She has special interest and training in Adolescent Medicine and Sexual Dysfunction.

Dr. Hernandez has participated in several community services including shelter for homeless, swimming instructor for handicapped and deaf children. She enjoys horseback riding, scuba diving and freelance writing for local newspapers and magazines.
