Dr. Alexander Shifrin has over 30 years of OB-GYN experience. While Dr. Shifrin is recognized for his extensive clinical and surgical expertise, precise clinical judgment, and uncommon diagnostic skills, his defining strength is his patient care philosophy — a commitment to not only providing his patients with the highest quality of medical care but also making them feel cared for.

Dr. Shifrin graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine residency program and spent five post-residency years caring for a community with extensive prenatal concerns as a Director of Women’s Health Services at the William F. Ryan Community Center. Next, Dr. Shifrin joined Long Island College, where he served as an attending physician and the Associate Director of the OB/GYN residency program.

In 1996, Dr. Shifrin established his private practice, where he developed and practices to perfection on a daily basis an integrated care method combining the most valuable insights that nature and advanced medical science have to offer— with primary care, OB-GYN, and science-based wellness integrated.

Dr. Shifrin is a recipient of numerous professional awards, including the AMA Physician Recognition Award, Certificate of Appreciation from the US Department of Justice, and Citation City of New York 2001.
