Brian Finley, MD

Dr. Brian Finley has been in the family practice field since 1982. Dr.Finley served in the Air Force as a Medical Officer practicing as a primary care physician as well as treating the wounded in combat. He retired after 24 years as a highly decorated Lieutenant Colonel.

With his extensive knowledge and hands on experience in the medical field he was asked to become a lead instructor for the ‘Family Resident Medical program at University of Nebraska Medical Center’ for 15 years.

He has been very actively involved in the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians and American Board of Family Medicine as Vice President in 2012 then being elected President in 2013 of the NAFP.

Dr. Brian Finley loves to help any and all that come across his path, this is why

in April of 2011 he founded “LifeCare Family Medicine” the best and only primary care clinic you will ever need. With his extensive history of medical knowledge he is able to perform procedures that most family practices cannot. Procedures such as Colonoscopies ( done at BMC under sedation), Transnasal Esophagoscopy (TNE’s) done in clinic, colposcopies, biopsies, steroid joint injections for pain management, and the list goes on.

Dr.Finley enjoys teaching his staff and patients, he has a strong drive to give every patient the medical education they need to succeed. He is very active in his church and faith.

Dr. Finley has been married for 42 years to Carol, he has 3 children and 10 grandchildren.
