Monica Wilson is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is working on her certification with the Institute of Functional Medicine. She has recently started her career as a nurse practitioner and in functional medicine; however, she has worked in conventional medicine for the past 6 years.

Monica has always had a fascination and amazement with the intricacies of the human body. Her nursing career started as an RN in the United States Air Force, where she worked in Medical Surgical inpatient units and a Family Medicine clinic. She also has experience as an Integrative Health Practitioner and working in Infusion clinics. These experiences exposed her to the world of chronic disease, sparking a passion for holistic health.
