A board-certified nurse practitioner, Amanda Kurtz graduated from The Salon Professional Academy in 2005 with an esthetics certification. She continued her education at Missouri Western State University with a bachelor of science degree and went on to receive a master’s of science degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Amanda is passionate about providing personalized aesthetic care to northwest Missouri.
Amanda graduated with honors and is a member of Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key International Honour Society, Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, The American Med Spa Association (AmSpa), American Academy of Facial Esthetics, The American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, Midwest Trauma Society, The National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Nurses Association.
Although initially trained in esthetics and as a trauma nurse, Amanda wanted to expand her knowledge base and continue her passion in aesthetic medicine. Amanda and her husband of 14 years live in Oregon, MO with their three children, Mariana, Luca and Catalina.
Amanda is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Hazmat, American Red Cross Disaster Relief, and Mental Health First Aid USA.
