She graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska Medical center and completed her internship at a rural clinic in David City, Nebraska. With a family practice background, Jackie has experience in treating most medical conditions from sinus infections to autoimmune disorders. However, her special interests include wellness, preventative medicine, women’s and men’s health, hormone therapy, and mental health.

Jackie’s practice style is patient-centered and based on patient-provider teamwork. She encourages patients to be active participants in their healthcare decision-making and teaches patients how to advocate for themselves in the medical world. When it comes to healthcare, Jackie believes health is far beyond a medical diagnosis, but rather the combination of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

During her years of clinical practice, she received the Summa Cum Lauda award for patient communication for five consecutive years, which places her in the top 1% of clinicians in the United States. This award represents her patients’ sense as being known, unique individuals, how well they feel listened to, and how well they understand their medications and instructions.

Outside of work, Jackie enjoys spending time with her family, coaching basketball and volleyball, gardening, fishing, and being outdoors. Family and faith are an integral part of her life and the foundation to the care she provides to her patients.

Tad Tewes, PA

Tad Tewes MPAS, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant with over ten years of experience in medicine. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2010 with highest honors. Since graduating, Tad has worked in general orthopedics with his scope of practice including orthopedic pediatric care, orthopedic urgent care, clinical medicine, trauma care, inpatient care, medical expert consultation, and surgery. Tad also has special interests in men’s and women’s health, wellness and healthy living, healthy aging, sports and athletic performance, strength training, nutrition, and hormone therapy.

Tad centers his clinical practice style on patient-provider communication and a team approach. He strives to fully appreciate his patient’s symptoms and how they impact daily quality of life. He also encourages patients to establish personal health and lifestyle goals. Through sound communication, planning, and teamwork, Tad believes patient wellness and quality of life can be optimized.

In his personal life, Tad enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, coaching youth sports, fishing, cooking, traveling, weight lifting, and being in nature. He gets great joy from seeing his patients and players succeed and reach their goals. Faith, family, and a wellness mindset anchor his approach to life and patient care.

Meagen Kelly, RN-BSN

Meagen Kelly, RN has a passion for holistic health and wellness. She holds a BSN from Minnesota State University and has been caring for patients over the past 17 years. Meagen’s ongoing wellness learning is focused on mind, body, spirit, and emotions. She believes in a proactive wellness approach and strives to empower patients to take control of their health to live a long and happy life.

At home, Meagen enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, cooking, and continued learning about wellness. In both her professional and personal life her focus is to live a wellness centered life. Her and her husband have two teenagers who never stop moving and are a daily reminder to keep smiling.
