Melissa Teixeira Palmer is an AANP board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in Massachusetts by two amazing Cape Verdean immigrant parents, alongside her sister and two brothers. She currently lives in Massachusetts with her wonderful husband, Nassive. She received her second Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2015, her Masters in Nursing in 2018 from UMASS Boston and her Doctorates of Nursing Practice in 2021 from UMASS Boston.
Prior to working in health and beauty industry, Melissa worked as a registered nurse for over a decade in various healthcare settings (i.e. long-term care, short term rehab, medical-surgical, psychiatry, pediatric and adult home care, etc.). She continues to work in the healthcare industry, focusing mostly on functional and regenerative medicine, health and wellness modalities, and aesthetics, while constantly continuing to expand her knowledge and skillset. She has a passion for helping others and giving her patients the guidance and support to strive for the best quality of life, while feeling and looking great in the process.
Melissa is a very easy-going person, who loves to smile and brings her sense of humor along to make anyone instantly at ease in her hands. When Melissa is not busy at the office, she loves to attend church, participate in outreach, catch up with family and friends, watch 1990s movies, travel, shop, and try new foods and activities.
She entered regenerative medicine and aesthetics to make a big impact. She fell in love with helping others transform their lives from inside out. Her eye for detail and desire to see results on happy clients is what keeps her striving to learn more and do more.
