Melissa is a graduate of Millersville University as a Family Nurse Practitioner and completed post-master’s studies to obtain board certification as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She has extensive experience working in the Emergency Department for over 16 years. Additionally, she has experience as a Nurse Practitioner in cardiothoracic surgery, urgent care and has worked at the academic level as a professor in the Nurse Practitioner Program at Millersville University before relocating to the Eastern Shore. In Primary Care, she is eager to cultivate trusting relationships with her patients while working cohesively on preventative care and treatment of chronic illnesses. Melissa enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and 3 dogs: Oliver, Lucy, and Benny!
