She also has experience in outpatient post-anesthesia nursing care. She has a passion for women’s health and enjoys learning in this field. Celina Theriot Hargenrader is a certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her advanced practice nursing degree from the Louisiana State University of New Orleans and her Bachelor’s degree at Nicholls State University. Previous work includes eight years of emergency medicine nursing experience before women’s health. She was inspired to pursue women’s health after a personal experience with infertility. She brings versatility, as well as an empathetic approach to women’s health. She is a member and certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a Member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and Sigma Theta Tau International Epsilon Nu Chapter. Celina is also a (CLC) Certified Lactation Counselor. Additionally, Celina currently teaches Advanced practice nursing to Nurse Practitioner students at Nicholls State University.
Kristen Plaisance is a certified family nurse practitioner. After earning her Bachelors of Science at LSU and then working as a Labor and Delivery nurse with a passion in women’s health for five years, Kristen returned back to earn her advanced practice nursing degree from the University of South Alabama. Kristen joined Complete Womens Healthcare as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women’s Health in February 2012. She has been practicing since December 2009. Kristen is a member of and certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a current member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
