Amy Deeley, MD

Dr Deeley completed her medical training at the University of Kentucky in 1994. She attended the residency program at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY. completing her training in 1998.

Shortly after completing her residency, she began her private medical practice in Louisville, Kentucky as the fourth partner of Women’s healthcare, now known as All Women OB/GYN.

Dr Deeley’s practice philosophy is to combine personal service with high quality medical care. She has gained a special interest in evaluating and treating hormonal imbalance both in peimenopause and menopause.

Dr Deeley is married and is the proud mother of a son, Mason. Hobbies include staying active, reading, walking her dog and practicing sports with Mason.

Lisa Crawford, MD

Dr. Crawford is a Louisville native. She graduated from the University of Louisville with high honors in 1984 and went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1988. She then completed her Residency at the University of Michigan in 1992.

Upon her return to Louisville in 1992, she began her private practice as one of the founding members of All Women OB/GYN (Formerly Women’s Health Care).

Dr. Crawford now focuses her practice of medicine solely on Gynecology. She maintains her yearly Board certification as required by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr Crawford focuses on all stages of the female reproductive life

Because of her concentration in gynecology Dr. Crawford also maintains certification with the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. This certification enhances her ability to evaluate and treat osteoporosis.

Dr. Crawford is also active within the community giving group presentations and media interviews, in cooperation with local hospitals, to ensure that women have the very best forum possible to obtain current information and knowledge about advances in women’s healthcare.

Elena Salerno, MD

Dr Salerno was born and grew up on the coast of Northern Italy. She received her medical degree from the University of Genoa where she completed her post graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Near the completion of her residency she was awarded a three year scholarship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. There she was involved in clinical research, participating in the Women’s Health Initiative, a large multi-center trial which evaluated the use of hormonal replacement therapy in menopause. She was also involved in basic science research investigating the effects of various drugs on osteoporosis.

During her time in Texas she met her husband and they both moved to Louisville in 1992. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She joined All Women OB/GYN in 1999.

Dr Salerno is board certified by the American Board of OBGYN in Obstetrics and Gynecology: she is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a member of the Greater Louisville Medical Society and the Kentucky Medical Association.

She has a specific interest in:

• The diagnosis and treatment of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

• Menopause

• Osteoporosis

She has published more than 10 articles in major American Medical Journals on these topics.

Tanika Taylor, MD

Dr Taylor was raised in Louisville, KY. She attended the University of Louisville Medical School and did her residency in Cincinnati at Good Samaritan Hospital (2004-2008). Before joining All Women she was practicing in Madisonville, KY for 6 years.

Dr Taylor is married and has 3 children.

Aimee Paul, MD

Though originally from Colorado, Dr. Paul calls Kentucky home.

She attended Transylvania University completing a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry in 1996 and went on to graduate from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2000.

She then traveled further south to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wake Forest University in 2004.

Dr. Paul has been in private practice as a partner with All Women OB/GYN, PSC since her return to Louisville in 2004. She is a member of the Kentucky Medical Association, the Greater Louisville Medical Society and the Louisville Obstetrics and Gynecology Society. She is a Fellow with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Paul enjoys both the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology, focusing on all stages of the female reproductive life including:

She recently took up knitting and likes to read real books as opposed to digital ones.

Shakira Powell, MD

Dr. Powell was born in Louisville, KY but grew up in southern Indiana. She received her undergraduate and Medical Degree from University of Louisville, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Her love for women’s health has flourished through mission work in Ecuador, as well as research in treatment of menopausal symptoms and routes of hysterectomy.

She is married to her husband John and is a proud mother of two children, Lucy and Baxter. She is an avid animal lover including her two dogs, Gavin and Wrigley. She is excited to be moving back home to Louisville, and feels blessed to have the opportunity to provide care that is tailored to each patient’s stage of life.
