Mandy Wood, APRN

Mandy Wood is a Nurse Practitioner specialized in acute care. She has an extensive nursing history. Prior to receiving her graduate degree, she was
an Operating Room RN for more than 10 years. During these 10 years as an Operating Room RN she pursued her interest in nursing and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Fort Hays State University. While continuing to hold her full time position in the Operating Room, Mandy also worked part time as an office nurse for a General Surgeon and this is where she found an even greater drive to gain autonomy and the ability to see patients through from the beginning to the end. As she continued her job in the Operating Room and as a General Surgeon’s office nurse,
Mandy continued with her passion for nursing and went on to pursue her Master’s Degree in Adult Gerontology Acute Care and graduated with honors in 2020. Mandy is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and licensed in Kansas and pursuing licenses in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Colorado. She has more than 4 years of diverse experiences as a Nurse Practitioner including areas of General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urgent Care/Family Care, Urology, and ENT. She is excited to embark on new
roles to help improve the need and accessibility of care by opening her own telehealth practice, Optimal Health and Wellness Telecare LLC and
working in congruence with Dared and Renee Price’s Wellness Clinic and providing HRT with Biote hormone pellet therapy at with Graves Drug in Winfield and Arkansas City, KS and Damm Pharmacy in Derby, KS.
