Hello! My name is Sam Boisen, I have worked in the ER over 11 years with the last couple of years as an ARNP- BC. I came to Live Hydration Spa West Des Moines because as a competitive athlete I understand the importance of keeping the body well hydrated and healthy as an essential step in maintaining energy and muscle recovery. I am passionate about helping our customers be the best versions of themselves. I have a huge passion for working out; I enjoy competing in CrossFit competitions and doing “Go Rucks”. I am married and we are a blended family with 5 beautiful kids. Four girls and One boy. Emmerson 21, Peyton 14, Isabella 13, Charlee 10, and Gavin 10. We also have a yellow lab named Bentley and a cat named Pickles.
Hello! My name is Alicia Grassley, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. I have been a nurse for over 20 years. I have extensive experience working in the ER, ICU, and Pediatrics, and recently I took on another challenge as a LifeFlight Transport Nurse.
In addition, I’m Biote certified, which allows me to support our growing Hormone Therapy practice. Beyond my nursing background, I have a passion for health and wellness. For six years, I worked as a Personal Trainer, and in 2017, I received my IPE PRO card as a Professional Bikini Bodybuilder.
I joined LIVE because I wanted to be on the preventative side of medicine and help people from the inside out, so they can LIVE their best lives. I love Jesus, travel, and live music.
Jillian has been an RN for over 10 years, graduating from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon. The primary area of her RN expertise prior to joining Live is adult and pediatric emergency nursing. Helping patients in the most critical times of their life is vital, but also crucial is the focus on preventive measures to avoid and reduce chronic illness symptoms.
Working through her own autoimmune issues since age 12, Jillian understands the importance of a healthy lifestyle and optimizing health using multiple modalities. She is excited to help other folks feel their best, so they can enjoy life to its fullest.
When she is not working as Lead RN at Live Hydration Spa, or in the ER you can find her gardening, thrifting, or tending to her backyard duck flock. She also loves watching old SNL skits, and spending time with her family locally and on the West Coast.
