Stephanie Gray, DNP, MS, ARNP, ANP-C, GNP-C, ABAAHP, FAARFM, is a functional medicine provider who helps men and women build sustainable and optimal health and longevity so that they can focus on what matters most to them! She has been working as a nurse practitioner since 2009. She completed her doctorate focusing on estrogen metabolism from the University of Iowa in 2011. Additionally, she has a Masters in Metabolic Nutritional Medicine from the University of South Florida’s Medical School. Her expertise lies within integrative, anti-aging, and functional medicine. She is arguably one of the midwest””s’ most credentialed female healthcare providers combining many certifications and trainings. She completed an Advanced fellowship in Anti-Aging Regenerative and Functional medicine in 2013. She became the first BioTe certified provider in Iowa to administer hormone pellets also in 2013. Lindsay Shedek, MSN, ARNP

Lindsay Shedek, MSN, ARNP, ANP-C joined the Integrative Health and Hormone Clinic team in February 2021. She is passionate about health and wellness, longevity, and bioidentical hormone therapy.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Iowa College of Nursing in 2008. Upon graduating, she worked for three years as an ER nurse at Iowa’s only level one trauma center, where she gained valuable skills and knowledge in the health care field. During that time she obtained her Masters of Nursing degree from the University of Iowa nurse practitioner program, focusing on Adult/Geriatric health. She has been practicing as a board-certified Adult Nurse practitioner since October 2011. In addition to her work with IHHC, she also practices part-time at the University of Iowa QuickCare and Urgent care clinics. From 2015-2020 she also served as the Director of Health Services at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, working closely with the college-age population on health wellness promotion and mental health.

She is proud to be certified through BioTE Medical, a bioidentical hormone replacement therapy company for both men and women.

Iowa natives, she and her husband Brian stay busy with their four children, ages 10, 9, 7, and 2; all of whom have deepened her understanding and commitment to living a healthy, well-balanced life. She enjoys running, hiking, reading, and cheering her kids on in all of their sports.

Samantha Anderson, MSN, FNP

Samantha Anderson MSN, FNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner and a graduate of Chamberlain University. She is a southeast Iowa native, and has called Cedar Rapids home for the past 8 years. She and her husband, Eric, have a son named Luke and a dog named Cooper. She spends her spare time reading, sewing, and being outside. She is continuously in pursuit of education and she never wants to stop learning new things. She was called to Function Medicine because of its “upstream” approach and the importance of building a strong foundation to optimize your health.
