Melissa completed her nursing masters at the University of Cincinnati in 2019. Prior to opening Captivate Medical Spa, Melissa was an RN in the Birth Care Center at UnityPoint Health, Cedar Rapids for over 11 years. Her aesthetic career began shortly after graduation.

She is passionate about both cosmetics and women’s health.

She is skilled in obstetrics, gynecology, hormones, aesthetics including facial rejuvenation, anti-aging procedures, skincare and acne.

Melissa loves hockey, baseball, sitting near a campfire, fishing and paddle boarding on the lake. She has two children and married her husband, Brian in 2006.
