I started my career as an OB/GYN in 1993. I was an early adopter of minimally invasive surgery, performing thousands of surgeries, including nearly 1000 robotic hysterectomy cases, allowing women to be discharged from the hospital the day of surgery. Over the past five years, I have assisted other hospitals in developing their own OB hospitalist programs. Now, I focus on the woman who has been told, “The way you feel is just a part of aging, and there is nothing to do about it.” My focus involves providing comprehensive women’s care for hormonal imbalance, urinary incontinence, and sexual function. This is a patient-centric model. At Epiphany Women’s Health, we focus on a functional medicine approach, improving women’s health by concentrating on lifestyle, diet, and daily activity. I have been blessed with five children and eleven grandchildren. Our lifestyle includes prayer, community, and good sleep patterns. Our diet includes intermittent fasting, organic foods, and sugar reduction. And our life involves daily activities such as traveling, playing with our children and grandchildren, biking, lifting weights, walking, and gardening to name a few.
