Dr. Hamm graduated first in his class from medical school in 1997 from Oklahoma State in 1997. He completed residency in Emergency Medicine at University of Louisville in 2000 and has been a practicing Emergency Medicine Physician for 19 years. He served as Medical Director of the Emergency Department for Mayo Clinic of Waycross for 10 years and he has severed as Medical Director for numerous ambulance services and Medical helicopter services. Dr. Hamm started the first ERgent Med in 2014 in Brunswick and opened a second location on St. Simons in 2016. He loves spending his time off with his two sons, Pearson and Aaron.

Elizabeth completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Georgia College & State University in 2005 and then graduated from The Medical College of Georgia as a Physician Assistant in 2008. She has worked in multiple fields including Hematology/ Oncology, Women’s Health, Family Practice, Geriatric Medicine, and Immediate Care. Elizabeth enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Erik and bird dog, Bigsby, in her free time. She is a musician and plays in a local band that you may see around town and also participates in the worship band at The Chapel. She loves art, painting, and design as well.
