Janice Hull is a full-time Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Innovative Women’s Healthcare Solutions entering her 5th year of employment with this practice. She has worked with 2 other private practices and has a wealth of knowledge in the field of Women’s Health. Janice has 32 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and 22 years of experience as an Advance Practice Nurse. She also has extensive leadership experience with 4 years of this experience as a Consulting Transformational Leader.
Janice has a passion for Women’s Health and preventative health care. She is an active member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, where she serves as Second Vice President of her local chapter.
She also serves as Chair of the Health & Wellness Ministry at Cascade United Methodist Church and is a member of the New Advent Choir at Cascade United Methodist Church. She has held active certification with the National Certifying Corporation for the past 22 years.
Janice earned a Bachelor of Science at Morris Brown College and both a Certificate and MSN from Emory University. She is currently a student matriculating at Georgia State University in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program with an anticipated graduation in May 2021. She enjoys cooking, traveling and shopping in her spare time.
Dr Melinda Miller-Thrasher was born and raised in Harlem, one of seven brothers and sisters. She credits her mother, her grandmother and the Lord for the perseverance and her older brothers with providing the exposure and guidance, which affected her decision to pursue medicine.
She studied at Cornell University with a major in Biology and a minor in Nutritional Sciences.
She completed her residency training at New York University.
She was recruited to join the faculty of Emory University School of Medicine as an Assistant professor, where she taught and trained students and resident doctors from Emory and Morehouse medical schools.
Although no longer fulltime faculty, she continues to satisfy her passion for teaching by mentoring scores of premed and medical students through organizations such as the Atlanta Medical Association, the PAUSE program and through the Morehouse and Spelman pre-health careers programs.
Dr. Thrasher has over 20 years of post-residency experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a field she chose so as to have an early impact on young women’s health and a life-long impact on the children they bare.

Over the years, she has aspired to reach new personal milestones involving her love of physical fitness and long distance running and considers her running of the New York Marathon one of her greatest achievements.
She brings this emphasis on nutrition and fitness to her practice along with her medical knowledge to motivate, educate and empower women, who she believes, significantly influences the lives of their families. Realizing that healthy lifestyle practices are best started young, and understanding that women are the central decision makers of the household, where nutrition, health and exercise are concerned,
Dr.Thrasher delivers her message to others using the outreach organization known as Innovative In Action. Her passion for writing along with her passion for educating women on non-hysterectomy options for treatment of fibroids inspired her to author The Innovative Women’s Guide to Managing Fibroids without Hysterectomy.

Dr. Miller-Thrasher was competitively selected to receive advanced training in a one-year clinical fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery at the nationally-acclaimed/nationally recognized and busiest cosmetic surgery practice in the country (Southern Surgical Arts) under the tutelage of cosmetic and plastic surgeons who are leaders in the Academy. During her Fellowship training, she focused specifically on all aspects of general cosmetic surgery and aesthetic procedures of the face, body and breast. She assisted in the care for thousands of women and took part in more than 1,000 cosmetic surgical procedures of the face, neck, breast and body. Her 25 years of gynecologic surgery experience, along with her cutting-edge formal clinical fellowship training in cosmetic surgery, and award-winning bedside manner, make her uniquely qualified to Artfully transform her patients to a more beautiful version of their natural selves.
She is on staff at both Piedmont Hospital and Emory University Hospital, where she serves as a clinical instructor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She has been recognized by her colleagues as one of Atlanta’s Top Doctors as featured in Atlanta Magazine each year since 2009. She is happily married and the mother of five children.
