A.J. was born and raised in Ocilla, GA.
He attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Valdosta State University.
In 2008, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, also from Valdosta State University.
A.J. started his nursing career in Augusta, GA at University Hospital in the Emergency Room.
He has also worked in emergency medicine in Tifton, Atlanta and Albany.
Prior to starting his nurse practitioner career, he worked at Musculoskeletal Associates for five years in the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Albany, GA. In 2016, A.J. obtained a Master of Science in Nursing with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama.
He is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has worked in Family Practice, Orthopedics and Interventional Pain Management.
As a healthcare provider, A.J. embodies a commitment to excellence and provides focused and holistic care to those seeking health and total well-being.
He has a strong interest in integrative and functional medicine with a desire to empower individuals to take charge of their health. A.J. is an active member of Christian Fellowship Church.
