Dr. Barfield is a Board Certified physician in the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology.

He is a Fellow of both The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and The American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Barfield completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Emory University.

He is a 2000 graduate of NOVA Southeastern University School of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his internship at the Children’s and Women’s Hospital of the University of South Alabama.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Georgia.

His cosmetic surgery training was with the International Society of Cosmetogynecology.

Staci Kenner-Fuller, MD

Dr. Staci Kenner-Fuller is a Board Certified OB/GYN.

She has been practicing at Cartersville OB/Gyn since 2012.

She performed her ob/gyn residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where she served as chief resident from 2011-2012. Dr. Kenner received her Medical Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Pre-Medicine from Spelman College in Atlanta. She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), she also is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Hugo Ribot, MD

Dr. Ribot is a Board Certified physician in the specialties of obstetrics and gynecology, and advanced operative laparoscopy, and the managing partner of Cartersville Ob/Gyn Associates.

A 1981 graduate of Dartmouth College, Dr. Ribot received his medical degree from the University of

Miami School of Medicine in 1986.

He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in 1990, receiving its first-ever annual “Best Laparoscopic Surgical Resident Award.”

Since joining Cartersville Ob/Gyn in 1990, he has introduced to the northwest Georgia region numerous advancements in the speciality.

Dr. Ribot also is the co-founder, and medical director of the practice’s onsite outpatient surgical facility, the Georgia Advanced Surgery Center for Women.

He has many years of experience performing bioidentical hormone pellet therapy.

Leigh Saunders, MD

Dr. Leigh Saunders is a board certified physician in obstetrics and gynecology.

A graduate of Berry College, Dr. Saunders received her medical degree from

the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her residency in obstetrics and

gynecology at Georgia Baptist Medical Center.

Dr. Saunders has over 25 years of experience in hormone replacement therapy.
She is a BioTE certified provider and has spent the last several years specializing
in the optimization of hormones in both men and women.
