Arthur Clements, M.D., Ph.D., is a native of Tallahassee, where his father also practiced obstetrics and gynecology for over 40 years.
Dr. Clements received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and his Ph.D. from Florida State University in Nutritional Biochemistry.
He completed his medical training at the University of Monterrey and residency at Tulane University where he received the Dr. Lee and Dr. Bohm teaching award and served as the Administrative Chief Resident at Charity Hospital.
Dr. Clements has served as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the District 12 Section 1 Chair of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Florida Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, Capital Medical Society, Conrad Collins Society New Orleans, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Clements’ public service included being appointed by a member to the Florida Cabinet to serve as the state of Florida OB/GYN representative to the Neurological Injury Compensation Association, which administers funds to care for neurologically injured babies.
He also volunteers his professional time to serve as a board member of the Florida Obstetrics and Gynecologic Society, where he is the past President.
He serves on the faculty of Florida State University Medical School as the Education Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He has been recognized as one of Americas Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

He and his wife, Patricia Clements, Ph.D., have two outstanding daughters, Claire and Meredith.
