Dora Dellatorre, APRN

Dora has been a resident of Brevard County for over 22 years. She graduated from South University in December 2019 as a Family Nurse Practitioner and joined Dr. Rigdon’s practice in the spring of 2020. She pursued her nurse practitioner education while working the night shift in Cape Canaveral Emergency Department as a clinical charge nurse. She has more than 14 years of ER nursing experience. Before going into nursing, she worked as an EMT for nine years and then as a medical assistant for many years. Her mother and aunt were nurses; they were, and still are, her inspiration. Dora enjoys caring for her patients and teaching them about disease prevention and wellness. She is especially interested in helping women navigate menopausal changes and hormone imbalances that affect physical and mental health.

As a single mom, she diligently worked and studied while raising two wonderful children. She is now married and enjoys relaxing with her family going fishing, scalloping, gardening, doing DIY projects and traveling. Dora is also actively involved in mentoring the youth and devotes time volunteering with local charities. Coastal Med Spa truly appreciates Dora’s humility and love of humanity which radiates to all patients Dora meets and serves.
