Dr. Pennant received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMD-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Pennant has a background in academics, having held a faculty appointment at Hackensack Medical Center in New Jersey.
