Dr. Alvarado has maintained a private OB/GYN practice in Bayamon, PR since 1997.
Previously worked in a multispecialty practice in Lake City Fl. Simultaneously has been the legal advisor for Health Law and Medico Legal Affairs to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, as well as for the Municipal Legislatures of Cataño and Toa Alta.
Worked as Administrative Law Judge at the Puerto Rico Board for Medical Examiners dealing with disciplinary actions and Puerto Rico Emergency Management Agency for human resources disciplinary actions. Previously he also worked as legal advisor for the Mayor of Cataño in health law and medico legal affairs acting as Chief Compliance and Risk Management Officer.
As an Attorney, he was part of Landrón & Vera LLP Law Firm, he handled active state
and federal litigation, with emphasis in medical malpractice cases (both for plaintiffs and
defendants). Previously he had rendered services as a legal counselor at Patient””s Advocate Office.
Dr. Renee Ridley practices as an APRN at
MyDoc Women’s Health Specialists in Boca Raton FL and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has enjoyed a 31-year nursing career with employment as an L&D nurse, Primary Care FNP, OBGYN Nurse Practitioner, and Associate Professor of Nursing. She graduated with BSN and MSN (FNP) degrees from Murray State University in 1985 and 1996 respectively, and a PhD in Nursing at Saint Louis University in 2008. Dr. Ridley most recently obtained her medical doctorate (MD) at Texas A&M University in 2019. She then went on to complete 2 years of OBGYN residency training at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
