Heather Metchick, MD

Dr. Heather Metchick received her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and molecular biology at the University of Central Florida. She attended St. George’s University School of Medicine which provided an opportunity to study abroad, including training in London, England. She received her Doctor of Medicine in 1998, and completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. She is board certified in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Metchick is the founder/owner of Coastal Women’s Health, originally Edgewater Gynecology, established in 2004. She elected to focus her practice on Gynecology only to allow more time with her family. She enjoys spending time with her two children and traveling the world. Her hobbies include surfing, fishing, snowboarding, and living a healthy lifestyle.

Regina George, APRN

Regina “Gina” George is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has been in clinical practice for over 25 years, joining Coastal Women’s health in 2021. Gina is devoted to caring for women of all ages, providing the best possible care to our patients, and offering the most current forms of treatment. Gina is experienced in family practice as well as all aspects of gynecological health, such as well women visits, pap smears, STD testing and treatment, ordering specialty exams to help diagnose both benign and serious conditions, vaginal atrophy, painful intercourse as well as many other gynecological problems. She excels in hormone replacement therapy, including but not limited to all forms of topical, transdermal and oral treatments. Gina received her certification in pellet therapy for Evexipel bioidentical hormones in Dallas, TX.

With a passion for helping women achieve total body and mind wellness, Gina also offers diet and nutrition counseling and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. She believes all women deserve to live their best life, and loves to inspire women to make necessary lifestyle changes to achieve their goals.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking on the beach, cooking, going to sporting events, gardening, traveling and spending time outdoors.
