Dr. López-Cintrón specializes in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from George Washington University in Washington DC he studied medicine from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
He then completed his Internship from William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, and his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado.
Upon completion of his Residency program, Dr. López-Cintrón was stationed for three years at the 130th Station Hospital in Heidelberg, Germany as the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology and for one year at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
During his years of service he completed additional medical training.
He also was awarded the Expert Field Medical Badge in 1986 and The Army Commendation Medal in 1992. After serving his Country, Dr. Lopez-Cintron accepted a position with Physician Associates of Florida in their Longwood office and also as the Assistant Director of Medical Education – Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando.
Presently Dr. López-Cintrón is an active member of many different Professional Societies:
The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopies, Alpha Omega Alpha, Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Inc., the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and American Reproductive Medicine.
