James “Jimmy” Watson has been an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse since 2011.
The first part of his career was spent in orthopedics/neurosurgery in Tifton, GA for GA Sports/Tift Regional Medical Center, now known as Southwell. Along the way, he and his wife, Jennifer, moved back to Jasper. He then began working for a rheumatology practice in Valdosta, treating a myriad of auto-immune diseases. Following this, he began his career in general practice in Lake City, before deciding to open his own office in Jasper. In fall of 2020 he was granted autonomous authority by the State of Florida to practice independently as an APRN without physician oversight.
Living in rural North Florida, it was easy to see the need for quality healthcare.
