Melissa Withers, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Dr. Melissa Withers, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC is an Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Practice Manager at HYDRO Infusions. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of North Florida and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Dr. Withers began her nursing career at UF Health at Jacksonville in 2012 caring for a variety of patients ranging from orthopedic/trauma to cardiac critical care. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida in 2014, she went on to receive her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2018 from the University of North Florida. Since then, she has worked closely with patients ranging from neonatal CVICU, family practice, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Withers quickly realized throughout her career that she wanted to start focusing on the root cause of diseases for her patients and tailor their care in a way where their healthcare needs can be proactive rather than reactive.

She currently practices Functional Medicine because she wants to focus on patient-centered care rather than a disease-focused approach. Dr. Withers is passionate about getting her patients out of a reactive healthcare state and into a proactive one.
