Dora has been a resident of Brevard County for over 22 years. She graduated from South University in December 2019 as a Family Nurse Practitioner and joined Dr. Rigdon’s practice in the spring of 2020. She pursued her nurse practitioner education while working the night shift in Cape Canaveral Emergency Department as a clinical charge nurse. She has more than 14 years of ER nursing experience. Before going into nursing, she worked as an EMT for nine years and then as a medical assistant for many years. Her mother and aunt were nurses; they were, and still are, her inspiration. Dora enjoys caring for her patients and teaching them about disease prevention and wellness. She is especially interested in helping women navigate menopausal changes and hormone imbalances that affect physical and mental health.
As a single mom, she diligently worked and studied while raising two wonderful children. She is now married and enjoys relaxing with her family going fishing, scalloping, gardening, doing DIY projects and traveling. Dora is also actively involved in mentoring the youth and devotes time volunteering with local charities. David, an active provider at Rigdon Medical Center, has been a Florida resident for 20 years. As a current resident of Brevard County, David has practiced nursing for over 6 years before achieving his license as an APRN. David received his education from ESFC, University of Central Florida, Keiser University, University of Texas at Arlington, and South University. Married with 3 beautiful daughters, David has developed an approach to medicine in a caring, sensitive, and holistic manner. With his primary focus on health, fitness, and longevity, David has a passion for promoting wellness with every patient he meets.
Trisha White is an experienced nurse practitioner that is part of Rigdon Medical Center.
Trisha started her quest for medical education as a Surgical Technologist at Holmes Reginal Medical Center.
Working at the hospital, Ms. White was attending Brevard Community College where she earned her Associate Nursing Degree.
Hungry for knowledge, Trisha continued her nursing education at UCF graduating with a Bachelors in Nursing.
Trisha was working full-time as a Registered Nurse at Cape Canaveral Hospital Emergency as well as Surgical Departments.
To further her career, Ms. White enrolled at South University Nurse Practitioner program while still working as an Emergency Room nurse.
Regardless of long hours at work, Trisha diligently pursued her dream of becoming a Nurse Practitioner earning her degree in 2017.
Upon obtaining her license, Trisha joined Dr. Rigdon’s practice.
In addition to practicing in an internal medicine practice, Ms. White continued to learn the aesthetic and healthy living part of medicine, getting certified in Botox injections, fillers and bioidentical hormone therapy as well as homeopathic and nutritional health.
Ms. White is a proud mother of a 19-year cadet son who is now enrolled at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
She enjoys outdoors, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
