After serving four years as the OB/GYN Department Chair at North Suburban Medical Center, Dr. Long is now focusing on her clinical work with an emphasis on patient care and state-of-the-art, innovative gynecologic surgical procedures. Committed to providing her patients with choices in progressive, proven techniques, Dr. Long has extensive training in minimally invasive surgeries and in-office procedures.

Courtney Perez, CNM, RN, MSN

Courtney Perez, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife with more than two decades of experience, providing care for thousands of women and families. She enjoys caring for people from all walks of life and different cultural backgrounds, guiding and supporting their health through the stages of life.

Courtney earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in nurse-midwifery from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.

Courtney believes that building relationships with her patients and their families is paramount and feels privileged to attend births and support these precious moments. She guides women through times that are difficult, offering information, education, and support. She is committed to providing evidence-based care in a way that makes women feel supported and empowered.
