Originally from New York, Charlene moved to Denver to live, play and practice medicine amongst the breathtaking landscape of Colorado.

Dr. Borja earned her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. She completed her residency at Rose Medical Center in Denver CO and is a board-certified family medicine physician.

Sarah Wierda, NP

Sarah Wierda FNP-C is passionate about providing illness prevention, safety, and healthy lifestyle education for her patients with compassion and with a holistic approach. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and worked many years in ENT and Allergy. She later returned to the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs to complete her Family Nurse Practitioner program. Sarah is a native of Colorado and enjoys reading and spending time with her husband in the mountains, Gunnison being a particular favorite. Like many Colorado natives, she has a passion for watching football (go Broncos!) and basketball (go Nuggets!) games as well .
