Dr. Ashleigh Sartor, MD is a graduate of Swedish Medical Center Family Medicine Residency. Prior to moving to Denver for residency, she received her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, and undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Biology from Hope College in Michigan.Dr. Sartor enjoys the opportunity that Family Medicine provides for forming therapeutic relationships with a large variety of patients. Dr. Sartor brings a broad scope of care to Ascend Medicine and active in all aspects of medicine including Women’s Health.

Dr. Sartor is currently completing a second board certification in Functional Medicine.

Functional Medicine uses a “whole person” approach to address the underlying causes of disease, engaging both patient and practitioner in a therapeutic partnership.

She embraces healthy living and healthy cooking and brings this expertise to her patients and as the director of the ‘Elite Medical Weight Loss’ program at Altitude Family and Internal Medicine and Ascend Medicine.

Taylor Simmons , PA-C

Taylor earned his degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at Rhodes College before going on to study for Physician Assistant at Mississippi College.

He has been here in the Denver area now for 5 years.

Taylor has a committed interest in personalizing treatment and health goals for individuals who are looking to pursue their highest quality of life.

Personally, Taylor is an avid runner.

He and his wife Emma spend the majority of weekends and often sunrises in the mountains hiking, running or camping.

Taylor has long been interested in nutrition, specifically how dietary choices can serve effectively as adjust therapy to medications in a broad spectrum of applications from high blood pressure to hormone imbalances.

Other hobbies include tennis, playing the cello and guitar, cooking, and more recently woodworking.
