Laura is a Doctorate-prepared Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, having practiced as a NP since 2008. Her experience includes 6 years in the United States Air Force and, currently, serves in the Colorado Army National Guard as the Medical Commander for the state. She has been managing Biote patients since 2017. She is passionate about Women’s Health, hormone optimization and holistic health and fitness. Laura is married, has 4 adult children, 2 black labs, and she loves running, skiing, and traveling.
Lauren is originally from Miami, FL. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2012. After graduating, Lauren worked for several years as an RN at New Hanover Regional Hospital in Wilmington. She also spent several years traveling around the country as a travel nurse where she gained extensive experience in caring for a variety of ailments and injuries. She then decided to return to school and earned her Master’s Degree and became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Lauren’s passion for helping people live a healthy, pain-free life, drove her to learning natural and modern medicine techniques. She now provides medical care utilizing new, innovative methods for pain relief and healing as well as preventative medicine with bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Lauren is specially trained to perform STEM CELL ALLOGRAPH and PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)injections under ultrasound guidance for great results. She also performs intramuscular trigger point injections and other joint injections for pain, arthritis, inflammation, and cartilage damage. She also has a great eye for beauty and symmetry and is certified in medical aesthetics, specializing in neuromodulators and dermal fillers (Juvederm, etc.).
Lauren lives in Denver, CO with her Goldendoodle, Charlee Rose. She is passionate about health and wellness, enjoys working out, painting, travel, and spending time with friends and family.
