Joe Axelrod, MD

Dr. Joseph Axelrod finished his residency training at Duke University in North Carolina, then moved back to his hometown of Chicago. Dr. Axelrod practiced obstetrics and gynecology at the second busiest teaching hospital in Illinois.
As an associate professor at the University of Illinois, Dr. Axelrod enjoyed teaching medical students and residents for nearly 20 years and appreciated the challenges of working with a high-risk obstetrics population.

He specializes in office surgery and minimally invasive laparoscopy, as well as vaginal approaches to major surgery.
Dr. Axelrod loves delivering babies and relishes the life-long relationships he develops with his patients as he helps them through adolescence, adulthood, and into menopause.

When Dr. Axelrod is not working, he can be found exploring the outdoors.

Whether skiing, hiking, competing in triathlons, or fishing with his daughters, Dr. Axelrod is passionate about nature and fitness like he is about patient care.

Amber Fontenot Ferriss, MD

Dr. Amber Fontenot Ferriss is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, completing her undergraduate training in 2008 at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. There, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science. She went on to complete her Medical Degree at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she helped to establish a satellite medical school campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2010. In 2016, she graduated from the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. As a chief resident, she was selected for recognition from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists for “Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology.”
As a gynecologist, Dr. Fontenot’s career passions include minimally invasive surgery (vaginal, hysteroscopic, and laparoscopic procedures), contraception, as well as in-office procedures. She fosters an open environment for women to feel comfortable discussing challenging topics such as heavy menstrual bleeding, painful intercourse, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain.
In the world of obstetrics, she is committed to helping a woman and her partner through the pregnancy experience: from prenatal care, to labor and delivery, and through the postpartum period. As drawn from her training at Denver Health, she is pleased to support women through both medicated and unmedicated births to achieve a safe delivery for mother and child. Particular interests include providing care for high-risk patients, including multiples and patient’s with pre-existing medical conditions.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Fontenot enjoys cooking, traveling, practicing (limited) photography, and (above all others) baking. She was even featured on theknot.com as the baker for Dr. Madeline Comneck’s wedding cake! She lives in Denver with her husband, two boys, and their dog.

Lindsay Eun, MD

Dr. Eun is originally from Gulf Breeze, Florida, and graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, with a degree in Spanish.

She did her medical school training at the Medical College of Georgia, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors.

She then proceeded to complete her OB/Gyn residency training at the University of Colorado in 2010, and has been working at Westside Women’s Care since.
Dr. Eun is married with two daughters, and in her free time, she enjoys golf, yoga, snowboarding, reading, and traveling.
Dr. Eun is a board-certified OB/Gyn and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

While she enjoys both obstetrics and gynecology, her particular interests include adolescent medicine, complicated obstetric issues, and minimally-invasive gynecologic procedures.

She speaks Spanish fluently.
She initially entered OB/Gyn because of the excitement of delivering babies.

She also loved that women’s health provided such a wide variety of patient interactions in a typical day – from a teenager struggling with swim practice due to heavy periods, or a pregnant patient with depression, or a new mom with a breast infection, or a 50-year old battling menopausal symptoms, to a 70-year old with urinary incontinence.

She is kind and compassionate as she helps women navigate the dramatic changes of womanhood.

Molly Quinlan, FNP

Molly is from Houston, Texas but moved to Colorado after college and hasn’t looked back. She loves being in the outdoors (snowboarding, hiking, camping, and road and mountain biking), traveling, and spending time with her husband and two kids.
