Alan Johnstone, NP

Alan is originally from Tijuana, Mexico, and has stayed local to the San Diego area. He graduated from SDSU with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 from San Diego State University; and returned to school for a Masters in Science of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018 from Azusa Pacific University. Loving to learn, he has achieved many certifications, including Lifestyle Medicine Provider.

Alan has worked in varied settings in San Diego first in intensive care, then trauma and ambulance work, among others. This gives him a unique perspective on the workings of the human body. Working from a root cause perspective, he strives to provide the most comprehensive and holistic nursing care possible. Alan is driven by the love and support of his wife and two children and providing the best care while causing no harm.

Ian Troupe, DNP, FNP

Ian graduated with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of San Diego’s Family Nurse Practitioner program with a focus in emergency care. He has practiced as a Registered Nurse for seven years through the COVID-19 pandemic in level 1 trauma center emergency departments including UCSD Health. His experience in the heart of the healthcare system has provided a wealth of clinical knowledge and extensive insight into the nature of disease, the process of healing, and the practice of wellness. Ian focuses on empowering individuals with the personalized, holistic, and comprehensive medical resources required to engage with each step in the journey of health and fitness.
